This week’s layout was actually finished on Tuesday during naptime — go me! It still feels a little surreal to scrapbook photos from two years ago that show such a tiny version of Miss C. I’m always struck by how close in age her friend Josie is: Josie is exactly two weeks and one hour younger. Watching them together never gets old; their interactions are sweet and full of personality.
When C was born, I started editing and printing photos each month. That habit has made scrapbooking so much simpler: when I want to put a page together, I just grab an envelope of prints and get to work. Because of that routine, most of my pages use 4×6 prints, with the occasional 5×7. Keeping to those sizes has really streamlined the process and made creating layouts faster and more enjoyable.
