If you haven’t guessed yet, Parker is a bit “girl crazy”—or perhaps “lady crazy” is more accurate. One evening he told a friend that he likes to “make the ladies laugh.” Naturally, he wanted to know what the ladies think of him. He came into my room that night and asked:
“Mom, so what do you think the ladies think my best feature is:
My strength,
My intelligence,
My speed,
My blonde hair,
My blue eyes, or
All of the above?”
After I stopped laughing long enough to answer, I told him I thought it was all of the above.
Later, when I relayed the story to my brother David, he told Parker he believed it was his blonde hair. Parker looked at Uncle David and replied, “You do know all of the above is an option, right?”
Clearly, I have a very humble kid.
